And so the Galloway Squirrels exhibition draws to a close….

Yesterday was the last day of my Galloway Squirrels photography exhibition at the Tolbooth Art Centre in Kirkcudbright. It was the first time I have exhibited my work, and I had been really apprehensive about “putting it out there”; but I need not have worried! The exhibition has been popular and lots of people have made it along for a visit, and my little visitors book has filled up with lots of lovely comments. I particularly enjoyed the comments that got a little more creative!! Evil Gunther is great!!!

Thanks to everyone who visited, your support means alot to me.

So what next for the little red squirrels? Well, they will be on show again later in the year at the Ross Gallery in Stranraer museum, if you can’t wait until then some will also be hanging in Hullabaloo in May.

For those who like browsing in shops you can find them in the Tolbooth Arts Centre shop, you will also find them in the BQA Interiors shop in Thornhill, and there may be another stockist in Kirkcudbright to be announced soon.

For those who like to browse from their armchairs you can see more of my work on my website (red squirrels and landscapes galore)  https://hiddengalloway.com/

If you can’t make it to a shop, but want one to keep you can order a print from my online shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/HiddenGalloway

It has been alot of work putting the exhibition together, way more than I expected, but what a great experience; and I don’t have to wait long to do it all again, as my landscape work will be on show in the Ross Gallery at Stranraer Museum from next weekend!!! EEK!! loads to do for that still!!
