Southerness Lighthouse in a Stormy Solway
There were stormy seas and high tides on the Solway last weekend, the old lighthouse at Southerness was meeting waves.
Christmas Cards #1
Christmas is coming, so here’s a snowy Christmas card image from earlier this year. Brightening up a wet and windy morning with a taste of cold, crisp perfect white snow.
This was also taken in March this year, but it will never quite make it as a spring image!
Red Road Flats, Glasgow
I lived in Glasgow for 12 years and have a love of the place, albeit my love of the peace of living in the countryside is greater! I stayed in Red Road flats for a few months with a friend a long time ago. This photograph was captured during a Hidden Glasgow walk a year or so ago.

The burns are running full just now and our waterfalls are brimming full of energy.
Autumn Colour in the Galloway Hills
Sunday was a perfect Autumn morning, with a sparkling white frost and crisp blue skies the hills were glowing with Autumn colours. The image is also available for purchase in my shop http://hiddengalloway.smugmug.com/ Christmas is coming after all!

Cruggleton Castle
This image is of all that remains of Cruggleton Castle at Garlieston as captured last weekend when it was blowing a gale, and had the barley field rippling like the sea below.
Castlerigg Stone Circle
It was so lovely last weekend that a day trip to the north west coast of England on Saturday (Silloth, Workington, Whitehaven…) turned into spending the rest of the weekend in the Lake District.
Liminal Event
Thoroughly enjoyed Liminal on the flats sands at Cardoness on Saturday evening. It was a perfectly still calm evening as people gathered and the huge ball arose from the sand!
